Musa sikkimensis.
Musa sikkimensis is a hardy banana originating from 6,000ft in the Himalayas,
and can grow significantly larger than Musa basjoo. It is more suitable than Musa Basjoo
in our tricky summer climate, more resilient to winds and continues to grow in cool weather
when Musa Basjoo almost stops. It can be overwintered outdoors successful given the same treatment.
Extremely attractive with young leaves either mottled maroon or with a maroon reverse.
